Despoina Xanthopoulou is Associate Professor of Organizational Psychology at the School of Psychology, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece. Her research interests include job (re)design, (job and personal) resources, employee well-being, and recovery from job demands. Also, she is specializing in advanced research methodologies (i.e., quantitative diary studies) and statistical analyses. Her research has been published in peer-reviewed journals such as Journal of Applied Psychology, Human Relations, and Journal of Organizational Behavior. She is Associate Editor of European Journal of Work & Organizational Psychology and she serves at the editorial boards of Journal of Occupational Health Psychology, Journal of Personnel Psychology, Occupational Health Science and Stress & Health. She is co-coordinator (elected) of the Division of Organizational Psychology of the Hellenic Psychological Society. She is also active in organizational consulting.
