The Foundation for Research and Technology (FORTH) is one of the largest and most well organized, equipped and staffed research centers in Greece. The Heraklion section consists of six Research Institutes.
The IEEE TUC Student Branch will help you meet the Institute of Electronic Structure and Laser (IEDL) and the Institute of Computer Science (IIS), which consists of the following research laboratories:

• Computer Architecture and VLSI Systems
• Laboratory of Computational Bio-Medicine
• Computational Vision and Robotics
• Distributed Computing Systems
• Human-Computer Interaction Lab
• Information systems
• Telecommunications and Networks
• Signal Processing Laboratory

The visit will take place on the 21st of November and the departure time is at 9:00 am from the center of Chania! The cost of participation includes only transport costs, which are a total of 10 €. After the visit in FORTH, we will have free time in Heraklion city and return back to Chania at 18:00.
Note: You do not need to be a member of the IEEE Student Branch but priority will be given to its members.
