IEEE Student Branch of TEI of Western Macedonia is organizing an event called “IEEE Day”, on Thursday 19th of October at 11:30 am, it will take place on Auditorium 2 on TEI of Western Macedonia in Kastoria. This event takes place every year and it’s dedicated to the first time that engineers all around the world met with members of IEEE with common goal to exchange ideas, on 1884.

The program of the presentations is:

• Presentation of IEEE Student Branch by Chitiris Christos, Student Member
• Presentation of IEEE Greek Section by Kakarountas Athanasios, Vice President of IEEE Greek Section
• Presentation of IEEE Educational Activities by Stamatis Dragoumanos, Chair Educational Activities Greece IEEE Section, IEEE Academic Global Ambassador
• Presentation of 5G Networks by Michalas Aggelos, Student Branch Counselor
• Presentation of Women in Engineering by Ntaouka Maria, Student Branch Treasurer
• Presentation of Oracle Academy by Savvanis Michael-Alexandros, Student Branch Chair

Eventually, with more festive mood, IEEE Day will close with IEEE Beer night, which will take place on Beavers Café-bar starting on 09:00 pm.
