The IEEE Student Branches of the Departments of Informatics and Electrical & Computer Engineering of the University of Western Macedonia organize a conference on Future Generation Networks and Internet of Things, on Thursday, April 15 at 18:00. The conference is held on the occasion of International Internet of Things Day and will be implemented through the Zoom platform.

The topics that will be presented are:

• Presentation of the Student Branches
• Mobility Management in 5G Networks will be presented by Angelos Michalas, Professor of the Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering of the Polytechnic School of the University of Western Macedonia
• Next Generation IoT: Modern Applications will be presented by Panagiotis Sarigiannidis, Associate Professor of the Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering of the Polytechnic School of the University of Western Macedonia
• Smart Grid Services Enabled Through the IοT will be presented by Dimitrios I. Vergados, Assistant Professor of the Department of Informatics of the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Western Macedonia
