Event description

The IEEE Student Branch Western Macedonia University of Applied Sciences of the Department of Informatics Engineering at the Technological Educational Institute of Western Macedonia in Kastoria, with the support of the Laboratory of Telecommunications, Networks and Distributed Systems, organizes the event “Do it with Arduino”. At the event will be a presentation of what Arduino is and what its possibilities are, followed by a review of Student Branch’s activities about Arduino and finally the members’ project.

Presentation’s Program:

  • What is Arduino and what its uses” by Cleopatra Gkola, Postgraduate Student of the MSc Modern Information Technology and Services.
  • Arduino at the IEEE Student Branch Western Macedonia University of Applied Sciences, Kastoria” by Georgia Fasoula, 3rd year student of the Department of Informatics Engineering.
  • Presentation of Romilos Weather Station” by Effie Kollia, 3rd year student of the Department of Informatics Engineering.
  • Presentation of the Romilos Educational Project” by Cleopatra Gkola, Postgraduate Student of the MSc Modern Information Technologies and Services.
  • Presentation of Kastoria Smart Lab” by Thanos Mourtzoukos & Pericles Siaravas, 3rd year students of the Department of Informatics Engineering and Christos Hitiris, Postgraduate Student of the MSc Modern Information Technologies and Services.

The event will take place at Auditorium 2 of the Technological Educational Institute of Western Macedonia in Kastoria on Tuesday 11/12/2018 at 18:00.
